Resident Evil Veronica

Storyline and Background
The game will still be based on the original Resident Evil - Code: Veronica (which was first released on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000), considered a highly important installment for the RE universe's overarching storyline.

The narrative focuses on Claire Redfield as she searches for her missing older brother, Chris Redfield, following the events in Raccoon City. This search leads her to a hellish prison on the isolated Rockfort Island in the middle of the ocean. There, she must find a way to survive a mysterious viral outbreak and hordes of frenzied zombies before the story eventually escalates to a research facility in Antarctica.

Remake Direction
According to reports and the first trailer, this installment will significantly elevate the horror elements, making it much more terrifying than before. The game will adopt a more cinematic approach with intense and aggressive storytelling, maintaining the high standards Capcom successfully established with the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes.
