Black Desert Adds New Monster Zone in Ulukita Along with QoL Improvements and New ‘Academia’ Outfit

Seoul, South Korea—January 31, 2024—Pearl Abyss announced today that Black Desert Thailand and Southeast Asia added a fourth monster zone in the desert region “Ulukita.” It also applied quality-of-life improvements such as Crystal integration, along with introducing the new “Academia” outfit. 

Ulukita’s fourth monster zone “Yzrahid Highlands” is located in the southern region of the continent. The new monster zone aims to stimulate growth motivation for veteran Adventurers, as it is recommended for those with over AP 310 and DP 420.
Yzrahid Highlands’ main loot items include Kabua's Artifact, Flame of Resonance, and Kabua's Fragment, which drops at a higher rate compared to “Darkseekers' Retreat.” The addition of “Seculion,” which activates monsters at a designated area, provides a different playstyle for those looking for loots from the “Darkseekers' Retreat.”  
Additionally, Crystal simplification, which was announced during last year’s Calpheon Ball, has now been applied. Various Life Crystals and Dim Magic Crystals have been combined for simplicity.  Black Desert will continue to improve QoL throughout the year. 

Last but not least, Black Desert’s first modernistic outfit, “Academia,” was introduced last week and has been on sale since then. The outfit portrays a unique style with vibrant blue and pink colors and is available for every class, including Scholar, the latest class in Black Desert.
