To spotlight LMDh cars—used in the GTP class of the IMSA SportsCar Championship and representing the pinnacle of American endurance racing—Pro Racer Tatsuhiko Kato shares his top three recommendations.
LAMBORGHINI SC63 LMDH

Lamborghini's first LMDh prototype, sporting a bespoke 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 mated to a spec hybrid unit that delivers around 680 bhp. Its carbon-fiber monocoque ensures an optimal balance of rigidity and weight distribution.
Comment from Tatsuhiko Kato

Lamborghini took on an ambitious challenge: creating a car for a new era of endurance racing. The result is the SC63, with SC standing for Squadra Corse, Lamborghini's motorsport division, and 63 representing the year the company was founded. Powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V8, it's aggressive design and smooth, resonant sound captivate anyone who sees it. Dominate the track with its explosive acceleration!
ASTON MARTIN VALKYRIE HYPERCAR

A model that brings Formula 1 technology to Le Mans. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12, the Valkyrie's extreme aerodynamics and raw power demonstrates Aston Martin's return to top-level endurance racing.
Comment from Tatsuhiko Kato

The innovations pioneered by aerodynamic genius Adrian Newey have been distilled into this purebred race machine built for the World Endurance Championship. With astonishing cornering born from the same advanced aerodynamic engineering used in F1, and the intense roar of its V12 engine, this car is a true standout in the racing world. Experience its incredible speed and sound for yourself in the game!
PORSCHE 963

A LMDh prototype from Porsche. Built for modern efficiency and powered by a hybrid twin-turbo V8, this car was meant for glory in IMSA's GTP class and Le Mans. It is a symbol of Porsche's racing heritage, delivering relentless speed and precision.
Comment from Tatsuhiko Kato

This LMDh vehicle was crafted by Porsche—the 19-time winner of Le Mans. Powered by a high-performance 4.6L hybrid twin-turbo V8, the Porsche 963 combines blistering speed with the rock-solid reliability needed for endurance racing. Take this latest creation from the kings of endurance racing for a spin—where strategy and focus are the keys to victory.
Tatsuhiko Kat

Born in Toyota City, Aichi, Tatsuhiko Kato serves as the ambassador of Hasegawa Kogyo Co., Ltd's DRAPOJI brand.
Inspired in his youth by a Mazda RX-7 he saw at Suzuka Circuit, Kato set his sights on becoming a professional racer. After making a name for himself as a Japanese representative in international Gran Turismo tournaments, he transitioned into real-world motorsports. In 2024, he claimed the championship title in the Roadster Party Race with CABANA RACING, and in 2025, he joined MAZDA SPIRIT RACING to compete in the Super Taikyu series.
